Product Description
Littleton, Mass.—One of the highest-power AC/DC desktop supplies carrying full medical approvals, XP Power's AMM120, a 120-watt AC/DC unit for medical and other high-isolation, low-leakage applications, meet both Class I (with ground) and Class II (no ground) specifications.
The single-output supply, measuring 6.3-by-3-by-1.72 inches, provides 12, 15, 18, 19, 20, 24, 30, 36, and 48 volts, and 85 percent typical efficiency at full load. The AMM120 delivers full power at up to +40°C (no fan required) and at least 50 percent of rated power at +60°C. Other features include no minimum load, better than ±5 percent total regulation, and ripple and noise of 2 percent maximum. Over-voltage, over-temperature, overload and short-circuit protection are included. Auto-recovery is provided in the case of overload. The supply meets all major international safety and EMC specifications for medical applications. MTBF is greater than 175,000 hours (MIL-HDBK-217F).
