Product Description

The RBAC-ROV underwater ROV is a full five degrees of freedom underwater video camera and sensor platform. This manoeuvrability is essential as other underwater inspection vehicles are not compact enough, nor do they have the mobility required to work in confined submerged environments. The RBAC-ROV utilises six internally housed vectored motion thrusters, allowing the operator all the viewing control required to assess the target object, all managed via one simple operator interface. There are no camera pan and tilt limits with separate controls (as demonstrated by other inspection class ROV's) because there is no pan and tilt requirement, simply rotate or tilt the AC-ROV. Four 'full-bore' vectored horizontal thruster units give equal forward / aft, port / starboard and pan control just like the biggest of commercial ROVs, whilst two vertical units give powerful up / down and pitch control. You can fly upside down or loop the loop if you want to.
