Product Name: Bioscrypt VeriCore SDK
Product Description
Versatility & Flexibility
Provides support for a wide range of fingerprint sensors
Can be deployed in a wide range of applications, with varying security, API and template requirements
Interoperability with standards such as ILO, MINEX and FIPS 201
Superior Performance
Due to the superior performance of our verification algorithm, Bioscrypt VeriCore has a proven track record of being selected by leading fingerprint sensor manufacturers such as Atmel and Authentec
Award winning performance (FVC 2002 & FVC 2004)
Exceptional Accuracy
The sophisticated image processing algorithms extract substantial information from the ridge pattern in a given area of a fingerprint
The extracted abundance of content-rich pattern information allows for precise matching
Factors such as dirt, minor distortions and abrasions have limited impact on the verification process
Sensor Interoperability
Supports interoperability between many of the leading sensor types, including offerings from AuthenTec, CrossMatch, UPEK, Startek and Zvetco
Templates created from any supported sensor can be used to verify against an image captured from any other supported sensor
Authentec Fingerloc with AF-S2 sensor
Authentec EntrePad 2501B with AES2501B
Cherry keyboard G83-14200 with AES4000
Cherry keyboard G83-14400 with UPEK TCRU1C
Crossmatch with V300 sensor
Startek with AF-S2 sensor
Targus Defcon1 Authenticator with AFS8500
UPEK TouchChip with TCS1 sensor
UPEK TouchStrip with TCS2 sensor
Zvetco P4000 with AES 4000 sensor
Functionality
Image Capture
Bioscrypt VeriCore SDK encapsulates much of the sensor specific communications into automated capture routines that offers device independent function interfaces.
Enrollment
The process of registering a user's fingerprint into the system. The Enroll function accepts an image acquired directly from a sensor. The image is processed, enhanced, and transformed into a fingerprint template. Bioscrypt VeriCore SDK supports variety of template formats.
Verification
The process of comparing a captured candidate image to a previously enrolled template to determine if they were derived from the same finger.
Utilities & Tools
Provides means for saving, loading and transforming templates, as well as performing image quality calculations.
