Wooden boxes work well, because they allow easy installation, and are durable but not flexible, but I can't just walk into a store and buy a wooden box. Especially not in the right dimensions. I've looked at electrical outlet boxes, and they would work, but they're not ideal because metal is harder to cut than wood or plastic. The dimensions on those are very restrictive as well. Also I've looked at Tupperware dishes, and those are probably at the top of my list right now, because they come in a wide variety of sizes, and are very easy to cut. However they are a little funny looking, and I expect their flexibility to contribute to the wear on the soldering joints. It's also ideal for the installation screws to not stick out, or else for them to be hidden, so they don't scratch stuff, which wouldn't be easy to do with Tupperware. I thought about using pc board, but that didn't appeal to me. PC board would break young, I think. Has anybody got any ideas? What do you guys use?? We have a system with a pump and a very expensive mass flowmeter, and are having our share of problems with it. Air inclusions and material compressing in pipes seem to be giving us trouble.We pump from 1 of 4 2500 lb totes of mayo into 1 of 5 mixing tanks using sanitary air-valves. The distance from the pump to the last tank in the system is about 30', with valves placed every 6-7' in the line. We are trying to measure to ~1lb. resolution.I am the electronics contractor, so I am not dying on this one, but could use any info to get us running.All suggestions and email welcome, no matter how off-the- wall.
