The Bluetooth Wireless Optical Desktop is the latest keyboard and mouse combination from Microsoft. Providing users with feature rich functionality and control options this Wireless desktop combination aims to provide both home and business users with the capabilities to work easy and play hard. Incorporating the latest in Wireless technology this desktop provides a greater freedom over previous Wireless desktops, which use the inferior inferred technology. Bluetooth is indeed the new age of Wireless freedom and with its range capabilities home users can especially enjoy this product with the luxury of being able to lounge about anywhere in their living room while working or playing their favourite games.
First Glance
From first sight this product appeared to have a very well crafted design. Its dark blue theme with silver and transparent keys gives this product a real stylistic feel. It’s certainly something I wouldn’t mind keeping in my living room! The layout is very similar to the Inferred version of this product. The only thing which was significantly different in terms of physical shape was the mouse which is now more stylistic. The Bluetooth receiver is equally aphetically pleasing to look at with its silver and dark blue design and it doesn’t take up much space either!
Features and Benefits
Feature wise the product is very similar to the inferred version of the Wireless keyboard and mouse combination. The added benefit of Bluetooth technology provides greater freedom whilst only using up one USB port, leaving the mouse and keyboard serial ports free. Now days it seems that everything is working its way to USB which inevitably puts pressure on consumers to upgrade their USB capabilities. With Bluetooth technology consumers can now work their system from up to 30 feet away! Using a key signal locking system the Bluetooth receiver ensures constant communication with the keyboard and mouse components, providing complete ease of use and reliability when working or playing. What’s even better about the receiver is that you can now connect many other Bluetooth compatible devices to your PC using the same component and without having to use addition ports on your PC!
