Ph.D. 1994, University of Washington Bioorganic Chemistry Dr. Brad Moore has a joint appointment with the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and Scripps Institute of Oceanography, as Professor. Dr. Moore received his Ph.D. in Bioorganic Chemistry from the University of Washington in 1994. His research is focused on developing new technologies to genetically engineer pharmaceutically relevant bacterial natural products and their derivatives for drug discovery and development. Research Interests: Biosynthesis of marine microbial natural products, combinatorial biosynthesis, in vitro and in vivo biochemical analysis of biosynthetic enzymes, directed and random approaches toward enzyme engineering, chemoenzymatic synthesis, accessing the biosynthetic potential of uncultured bacteria associated with marine invertebrates, drug discovery Selected Publications: L.
