Company Name: Service Specials Direct, Inc.

Company Type: direct response advertising for automotive sales and service departments nationwide

Company Profile

Service Specials Direct is committed to providing the very best in direct response advertising for automotive sales and service departments nationwide. Our primary objective is to ensure the highest return on investment for our dealer clients through extraordinarily effective direct mail combined with the integration of the latest internet marketing technologies. The most critical element, the mail piece itself, is often overlooked and not given the focus it deserves. If everything else is done properly but the mailer fails to demand attention in the mailbox, then all is lost. This is the arena where the direct mail battle must be won, and Service Specials Direct dominates the mailbox with an aggressive one-two punch.

About Company

Irvine CA - The pioneer of four-color automotive service direct mail is back. Service Specials Direct (SSD), formerly Picture Perfect Promotions (PPP), has re-entered the industry with a powerful new mail format that is delivering the best response rates dealer service departments have seen in many years. After fulfilling a three-year agreement not to compete in the automotive industry, Ed Collins, president of the former Picture Perfect, has reunited the nucleus of his successful team to deliver a unique service marketing solution. PPP was the largest and most successful direct mail firm specializing in automotive service mailers in the U.S. when ADP Dealer Services acquired it in April 1997. Unexpectedly, ADP closed all PPP operations two years later in May of 1999. As the first company to introduce an 11" x 17" 4-color service mailer with protected territories to the automotive service industry in 1992, PPP dominated the service mailer market for eight years, providing cleverly designed, high-quality mailers to thousands of dealerships across the country. PPP was on the preferred vendor list of General Motors and produced factory programs for Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Volkswagen, Audi, Volvo and Jaguar. Service Specials Direct, once again is offering a unique groundbreaking product with protected territories. Along with standard and oversized 4-color mailers, SSD has developed an affordable 4-color, jumbo-sized 22" x 12" mailer, printed on a noticeably heavier stock. "With direct mail competition growing in both size and sheer numbers within the consumer's mailbox, we are offering a mailer that simply cannot be ignored or lost in the clutter," said Collins. "Due to the huge volume of direct mail business we produce for political campaigns, we have overcome the cost barrier for producing a piece of this size. It is extremely affordable compared to what our competitors have to offer," Collins added.
